✗ Anyone who insults his family or friends (Yes, he takes "your mama" jokes quite personally.)
✗ Most types of alcohol (He'll make exceptions sometimes.)
✗ Being stuck inside for long periods of time
Fears:
✄ Losing his mental stability, even just temporarily, and committing suicide or possibly killing someone, whether they were close to him or not.
✄ His best friends and his mother dying and leaving him alone in the world.
Quirks:
☁ He gets along pretty well with everyone, so it's easy for him to form friendships, granted the person he wants to be friends with likes him as well.
☁ Though his favorite food is moussaka, he also has a taste for seafood, particularly several types of fish. (And we know Austria's anger is Heavy Weapons Guy.)
Personality: Quiet and often found sitting on the rare grassy hillsides of Greece with a cat nearby, Heracles seems like the type of person that would always be saying something deep, and would speak philosophically about the simplest things. Though he does enjoy philosophy, he speaks normally and often only goes into deep thought when he's half-asleep. Typically he has a far-off look on his face, like he's constantly daydreaming, which he usually is. About what, no one can be for sure, because he likes to keep his interests a secret, so the most anyone can guess about him from one look is he enjoys sleeping and he loves cats.
Even if he does prefer to keep to himself and not speak unless spoken to, anyone caught staring at him will receive a warm smile, perhaps with a "Hello." afterward, but nothing more. Heracles has found this is actually a good way to make friends, so he does it often. He also seems to have a sort of "caretaker" sense towards people who are younger than him, even if it's only by a year or so, but this is especially true with children. This is probably because he's used to caring for others, having two younger siblings and a sick mother. He knows how to cook because of this, and though he does enjoy it, most of the time he'll turn down the offer to cook if it isn't entirely necessary for him to do it. He's good at it, but he's also lazy.
Speaking of his laziness, it keeps him from getting things done. He hates doing any type of chore he considers unnecessary (which is most of them unless it's for a loved one), and would rather sit outside underneath a tree and read or sleep than keep a to-do list and get everything on it done in one day. Things like this have gotten him into trouble more than once, however. If he has an opinion, he's not afraid to stand up for it and argue with anyone who opposes for however long is necessary until he feels he's gotten his point across.
History: Born in Greece in the city of Nea Ionia to a young, single mother, Heracles never knew his father, who died before he was born. The one time he asked his mother about it, she was barely able to tell him a thing through tears, and he told himself he wouldn't ever ask again. Two years after he was born, his mother had another child, a girl, and a boy a year later. Heracles' relationship with his siblings was better than most other people's relationship with theirs. They got along fairly well for the most part, though they still had a few problems like most siblings would, but if they got into fights, they would very rarely turn violent.
When Heracles was six, his mother became very ill, and his younger siblings were barely three and four years old. Even though he was young, he still had to take care of his family and he took over the household, cooking for his mother and siblings, running errands, and balancing in school work with it all. It was difficult, but he managed somewhat, though his grades in school suffered because of it. Once his sister was old enough, she helped him as best she could, and he gladly shared the workload with her. Their mother was sickly for quite some time, but her health finally started to improve when Heracles was nine. Soon, she had control of the household again, but she was very proud of her children for taking care of themselves and her for so many years. During his time as an errand boy for his mother, he acquired a large metal cross that he used for protection against any criminals he might find out on the streets.
The three were able to get their grades in school back up and continue on without much trouble through their education. However, when it came to his family, Heracles was always a doting and caring older brother. Whether it was playing dolls with his sister or going on adventures in the woods with his brother, he was always happy to oblige with whatever plans they had for the day. He never really had a wide variety of friends because of this, but he made a few close ones at school.
After college, Heracles told his mother and siblings, both of whom were working to get a higher degree in college after they graduated with a Bachelor's, that he would be moving away to another town in hopes of getting a higher paying job than the ones available in Nea Ionia. And that's how he came to be in Circletown in his current situation, reading this strange letter and debating what to do about, since maybe some money to send home might come out of this.

RP Sample:Quite a predicament this was. A mysterious letter in the mail, definitely a strange invitation, and he had accepted it in hopes that maybe he could make some money for Mama and his younger siblings. Now he was starting to wonder if he had made the right choice.
The house wasn't like any he had seen back home. Then again, he hadn't exactly lived in one of the rich neighborhoods that had these types of large and elegant houses. The ones in his little suburb looked rather average. They passed by fancy ones in the car some days, or when he and his brother and sister had been walking home from school or exploring one of the old abandoned ones, but never been inside an occupied one. Whoever lived here must have a lot of money, so maybe they would be willing to give some of it up to help out a poor boy and his family? There was only one way to know for sure...
Heracles cautiously stepped forward, examining his surroundings and looking for anything suspicious, though there was nothing that looked out of place. Not here, anyway. He would have to wait until he got inside to make a complete decision on that. Cross slung over his shoulders, he continued on.
